Time goes by but the fascination with silent films remains as strong as ever to longhaired youngsters as well as German aristocrats and will survive proletarian revolution, fat German heiresses and unruly servants. The coming of a Teutonic New Year will not put at risk the validity of these magnificent masterpieces of our ancestors.
